1. Trainee valuer/property manager for Derbyshire County Council Estates Department, Derby, England, 1981-1982. Valuation and management of public owned properties, acquisition and disposal of land.
2. Fee appraiser for Universal Appraisal Company Limited. Assignments through-out British Columbia and Alberta, 1983-1984.
3. Appraiser with Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation. Valuation for mortgage insurance purposes, disposal of foreclosures and administration of multifamily funding programs.
4. Fee appraiser with Canada Springfield Appraisal Company. Appraisal of commercial, industrial and residential properties primarily for mortgage financing purposes, 1985-1986.
5. Senior appraiser at Interwest Property Services Limited from 1986 to present. Appraisal assignments have included a variety of partial taking and full fee appraisals for expropriation purposes for the Ministry of Transportation and Highways, BC Gas Utility Limited, various municipalities, corporations and private individuals. Assisted in the preparation of cases for Expropriation Compensation Board hearings and in the County Court of British Columbia.
6. Worked as a land agent on contract property and right of way acquisition projects for Ministry of Transportation and Highways, Greater Nanaimo Water District and BC Gas Utility Limited, under a subsidiary company, Fraser Land Services Incorporated.
7. Became a Principal of Interwest Property Services in 1992.
